Novelis partners with Southern Company in pursuit of decarbonization goals

ATLANTA, Oct. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Novelis Inc., a leading sustainable aluminum solutions provider and world leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, and Southern Company, have announced plans to partner on decarbonization efforts. Their initial focus is on Novelis’ new Bay Minette, Alabama, plant, which aims to be carbon neutral for scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions.
