Novelis' Environmental Sustainability Objectives

At Novelis, we understand the importance of finding innovative ways of improving our products' overall life cycle to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, reduce energy and water usage, and ensure that we properly recycle materials in order to keep waste out of landfills, save resources and reduce emissions.

Our sustainability efforts don't begin and end at our manufacturing facilities. We constantly evaluate the emissions represented by the raw materials we purchase, the products we manufacture, the benefits realized at our products' end of life and every step in between. We are currently the world's largest recycler of aluminum beverage cans, but that's not enough, we want to be the world's largest recycler of aluminum. To achieve this goal, we never stop looking for opportunities to incorporate more recycled material into every product we make.
