In making lithographic plates, our customers grain the surface of the metal, anodize it, coat it and finally cut the coils into sheets, or lithographic plates. To meet the requirements of this process, the metal supplied by Novelis has specific metallurgical, surface and flatness properties.
The lithographic plates thus produced by our customers are then sold to print shops, printing houses and publishing groups to be used for printing books, magazines, newspapers and promotional literature.
