Chief People and Communications Officer
Eric Drummond is chief people and communications officer for Novelis Inc. In this role, Mr. Drummond is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the company's worldwide human resources objectives, policies and practices, as well as its talent development efforts. He also leads the corporate communications function.
Prior to joining Novelis in November 2009, Mr. Drummond was vice president, global human resources, for the National Basketball Association.
Mr. Drummond started his career at Ingersoll-Rand taking on progressively more senior roles in human resources within the manufacturing arena. He later held senior human resources positions at PepsiCo, Coors Brewing, RJ Reynolds/Japan Tobacco and Linde Gases.
Mr. Drummond holds a B.S. degree in Employment and International Relations as well as a Masters degree in Labor and Industrial Relations, both earned at Michigan State University.
